November 2024: As mentioned in the October 15 update, the Facility Application has been submitted to the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) for the East Ring Enhancement Project (EREP).

The EREP is divided into two filings with the AUC:
  1. 60L (North Area) is registered as Proceeding #29537
  2. 30/40L (Northeast, Cypress County, and Southeast Areas) is registered as Proceeding #29538
Slight adjustments have been made to the alignments based on feedback received from community members. Preferred and Alternate Scenarios have been provided as part of the application in the Northeast and Southeast areas of the project. Final alignment submitted to the Alberta Utilities Commission.

    As mentioned in the October 15 update, the Facility Application has been submitted to the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) for the East Ring Enhancement Project (EREP).

    The EREP is divided into two filings with the AUC – One for 60L (North Area) and the other for 30/40L (Northeast, Cypress County, and Southeast Areas).

    The application and associated reports are available on the AUC website and can be reviewed by following these steps:

    1. Visit the AUC website at www.auc.ab.ca
    2. Set up an account (required)
    3. Search for the filing using the following proceeding number
      1. North Area is registered as Proceeding #29537
      2. Northeast, Cypress County, and Southeast Areas are registered as Proceeding #29538
