Medicine Hat Transit (MHT) is exploring ways to design an optimized public transportation system which is flexible and able to meets the needs of the community at a reduced cost to the taxpayer.
A new on-demand system, MHTnow, began operating on Monday, September 28, 2020. The pilot project replaces the current weekday evening service in the northeast and northwest neighbourhoods. On Monday, November 30, 2020, the service expanded to include River Flats and South Hill.
The project is providing City staff with important data, including popular pick-up and destination points, which will help determine future improvement opportunities for MHT.

The City of Medicine Hat is gathering feedback regarding Medicine Hat Transit and the MHTnow Transit on-demand pilot project.
Help us understand your needs as a Transit user so we can design a better system. Your responses will help us evaluate the regular fixed-route service, as well as the role of MHTnow.
