Medicine Hat? Where is that?

In 1994, I was working in Inuvik, NWT and looking to transfer to another airport. I was offered Grande Prairie or Lloydminster, but didnt’t care for either choice. Then I was offered Medicine Hat and thought, “Where is that?” I took the opportunity to take a trip to visit the city, and knew right away this was where I want to raise my family. We moved here in 1995 and never considered moving again. The city has everything you want from a larger city, without most of the issues. There is no where you can’t get to in 20 minutes, 25 during rush hour (really rush minute) and you can’t go to a community event without seeing a bunch of people you know. Once we get a visitor to get off the highway and see all the city has to offer, they realize what a special place this is.
