Letter to My Hometown

Medicine Hat was a great city to grow up in! My siblings and I had a beautiful childhood exploring the ghost trails, rafting down the river and swimming at the pool during the summer, and skating and sledding during the winter. There was always something to do! I love Medicine Hat for the wildlife and connection to nature. On any given day you'll see deer, blue jays, bunnies and beavers, especially when walking on the trails along the river. There is a real sense of community in Medicine Hat; strangers smile and say hello on the street and the trails! There is also an amazing variety of small businesses to explore, especially when walking downtown past all the incredible street art and murals. Medicine Hat has lots of nice city perks, like the mall, but also has a small-town feel with its close-knit community and slower pace of life. And the weather is (almost) always sunny!
