In the journey from India to Ottawa to Medicine Hat, I left behind the familiar and embraced the unknown. What initially felt like nervousness soon turned into excitement for new beginnings. Medicine Hat, with its rich cultural tapestry, became a welcoming sanctuary where I found a vibrant community eager to accept diversity.

Volunteering for city events opened doors to new experiences, introducing me to the city's history intertwined with the resilience of the Blackfoot Nation. This shared history resonated deeply with my journey of finding a true home.
