Your voice matters! Join the conversation and engage in our upcoming review of Medicine Hat’s Special Transit service. We want to hear from our valued customers and their support network(s) to learn more about your rider experience.
Project objectives: the City of Medicine Hat is collaborating with a consultant to gather data and valuable ridership input from current and potential users and groups, in order to understand the impact of current Special Transit service levels and the level of community need.
Our review of Medicine Hat Special Transit service will consider industry best practice and identify program gaps and improvement opportunities. This will include customer service, service delivery and other community expectations. All aspects of the Special Transit service will be reviewed, and recommendations for improvement will be made through a proposed implementation plan and an updated service policy.
How will we do this:
By gathering input and shared experience through engagement meetings and a public survey
Reviewing our eligibility process through an assessment of industry best practices
Interviewing our users and their support networks to learn more about their experience
Interviewing our drivers and learning more about their expectations and challenges
Get involved: we have opportunities to get involved and participate.
