Home Sweet Home

When I crest the hill coming into Medicine Hat and see the trees bordering the river I know I am Home! There is a peace that settles around me as I drive down the hill and cross the river. There are so many great things about our City. I love that I can walk to get groceries, or to the drugstore, or through the park enjoying the natural beauty around me. I love that I can go to a soccer game AND a baseball game in the same evening! I love that I can chat with my neighbors and know that we watch out for each other. I can bike and hike and kayak and paddleboard all in the same weekend. We have so many things available - from the Farmer's Market, Spectrum, the Balloon Festival to Pecha Kucha, Jazz Fest and Porch Fest! This is a great City and I am proud to call it Home!

Removing all angle parking would decrease the available space by what, 75%? There has to be a better way. Big trucks are one issue, but RVs are one "problem" I personally care little to nothing about. They should not be allowed to legally park where they block the drivable lane. Huge fines.

keep the angle parking and limit the size of the vehicle that can park there. Steep fines for oversize vehicles.
