Gulf Coast to the Hat

Moving a family is always a challenge, but moving them from the Gulf Coast to Canada, sight unseen in the midst of Covid? Yes, we may have had our sanity questioned a bit, but it's been one of the best decisions we ever made. It's a great place to raise a family between the schools, the parks, recreational paths, paddling down the river, the accessibility to Elkwater and the Rockies and more. The people are great, and while it has the small-town charm it also has all of the essentials you need covered. There's also the part of getting to actually experience seasons again! After living over 30 years in the Gulf Coast area, I can confidently say that the Hat has been my favorite place yet.
