Gets better with (my) age!

To be honest growing up here I didn’t appreciate the benefits and charms of this city of ours… But after living in bigger and smaller places over the years, then coming back to be closer to family I can appreciate the “goldilocks principle” that we benefit from here. It's like the city has gotten better as I have aged and my priorities have shifted towards a more balanced lifestyle. We have many benefits of a city without the pitfalls of a bigger centre. I often giggle to myself when I hear someone talk about the lines at Costco or “traffic”. I guess I just had to live somewhere else to appreciate this place, but I’m glad to be home!
